MEMBER COMPLAINT FILED IN OCTOBER 2017 GOES WITH NO ANSWER. WAIT THE MEMBER HAS BEEN NOTIFYING THE OFFICE FOR TWO YEARS!

PERHAPS, YOUR ARC, AND BOARD'S GENERAL FAILURE TO UPHOLD OUR COVENANTS, AND RESTRICTIONS, WILL ULTIMATELY CREATE NEW WATER FRONT PROPERTIES.  SORRY ABOUT YOUR DITCH ISSUE FELLOW MEMBER, BUT IT HAS GOTTEN THAT BAD HERE.

We'll start with the resident's letter to the board dated 10/25/17, and it should be noted that there was no response from the board in the file.  The resident writer probably wasn't surprised, as you'll note by his letter that he had been bringing his issues to the board for a LONG, LONG, TIME.  HERE IS THE LETTER:

"It has been at least two years since the Feb Ice Storm and now two hurricanes plus my calls to the office regarding the condition of this lot.  NO ACTION has been taken to get the lot cleaned up.

Why has the owner not been contacted or if they have been, is it in this condition?

We are responsible for our lot.  Should they be good care takers and do the same?

Also, there is a drain ditch which runs between #335 & 334 that should be cleaned and allowed to run to the pond by #4 golf hole.  During a rain storm, the water flows from Francis Parker down Patriot Court and fills the ditches and under driveways between these to lots.

It would be interesting to see if some action has been taken."

COMMENTS:
This writer and the issues he speaks to, and the questions he has are relevant to many of us.  It comes down to what we all suffer when your board fails to enforce our governing documents.  They don't just fail to enforce, but selectively select certain residents for their own special brand of inappropriate enforcement, if the resident speaks out to often.

I agree with the resident who wrote this morning - article immediately under this one - YOU, AND SO MANY OTHERS NEED TO GET TO THE MAY BOARD MEETING, AND START ASKING QUESTIONS DURING RESIDENT COMMENTS.  I know it could seem futile, but let it become part of the record of the minutes. What really needs to be done is that we need to drain the board swamp of some of these board members. I forget myself - one of the swamp developers is board secretary McMillin, and based on his actions of the last week, he may not record what actually happens.  After all, he pulls policy out of a hat now, for certain residents.
