RESIDENT WRITES REGARDING THE ARTICLE POSTED EARLIER TODAY ON ARC, AIR CONDITIONERS, ETC.

THE RESIDENT WRITER IS DUMBFOUNDED BY WHAT THEY READ IN AN ARTICLE POSTED EARLIER TODAY

The unedited letter posted below, is in regard to the article posted earlier today on the blog titled:

"WPA ARC INCONSISTENT OF POLICY IN HANDLING RESIDENT CONCERNS AND CORRESPONDENCE HAS LEAD US TO ONE LAWSUIT, WITH NO LESSONS LEARNED. IT APPEARS, THAT BOARD MEMBERS CONTINUE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS/COMPLAINTS FROM RESIDENTS FROM THEIR PRIVATE PHONES AND COMPUTERS, WITHOUT SHARING THEIR RESPONSE TO THE ENTIRE BOARD FOR REVIEW BEFORE IT IS SENT OUT. ADHERENCE TO POLICY, SELECTIVE HARASSMENT OF CERTAIN RESIDENTS, MEANS NOTHING TO THIS BOARD."

HERE IS THE RESIDENT'S LETTER:
With regard to the article you posted today, all I can say is that I am absolutely dumbfounded that something as small as plants around an air conditioning unit has caused the resident in your post to have caused the wrath of the board.  How is that possible when there are hundreds of instances in the community of people not taking care of their property and the board doing absolutely nothing about it?  How is an air conditioner with no shrubbery around it worse than a lanai with screening hanging off for YEARS?  How is it worse than residents who are parking large numbers of vehicles in their yards or putting furniture on their front porches?  How is it worse than tarp over a roof serving as a roof (again, for YEARS)?  The Board itself can’t even manage to mow the vacant lots as they have been paid to do.  There are broken, falling down fences, and the list goes on and on.  I can only imagine what this resident must have done to receive a letter like that for an infraction so minimal compared to other major eyesores that are allowed to continue in Wedgefield.  I hope that the resident who is suing the Board will ask his attorney to attend the next meeting so he can hear for himself evidence of just how little these board members adhere to rules that they are bound (as board members) to follow.
