19 DAYS AND COUNTING AND NOT A TRUCK, WORKERS, OR EVIDENCE OF THIS CONTRACTOR WORKING TODAY AT 10:30AM!!!!!!!
I did my daily drive around today at 10:30am. We drove all the way down to the landing on Wedgefield, and on Wraggs Ferry, all the way to the end. We also drove to the STAGING AREA.
There were two pieces of the contractors "EXCEPTIONAL" equipment in the plantation, both idle. One was what I call the scooper, parked where it was on Saturday, when little to NOTHING was done. The only thing in the staging area, was that same old empty flat bed truck.
Where's President Walton, Bob Garrison, and the contract developer - our treasurer? They all sang the praises of this contractor. Why aren't they seeing that the work is completed, quickly for the rest of us? Did enthusiasm stop after our treasurer got his area cleaned first, and then moved on to Garrisons? Little to no work Saturday, no work Sunday, and now not a contractor in sight on Monday. You figure it out. There might be some action, if the people who live on Wraggs Ferry, Wedgefield, and on the side streets that haven't been touched, were willing to volunteer and pick of their debris, and dump it in that grand staging area, near our treasurer.
UPDATE: When I returned from errands at about 4:00pm. A large truck with debris was leaving Wedgefield. When I traveled down Wedgefield Rd. toward the water there was another large truck, empty, no loading equipment. I traveled down to the landing and little to nothing had been cleared since my drive around at 10:30. When did these guys start and when will completion be a priority of this board?
