WHERE IS ARC? - THE ARTICLE WILL BE PUBLISHED BY3:00 PM, SEPT. 1st. UNTIL THEN, I'VE BEEN TALKING TO A FEW RESIDENTS, AND I'M SHARING THEIR SUGGESTIONS, THAT REALLY LOOK LIKE FURSTRATION

As noted in the title, the article "WHERE IS ARC?", will be published by 3:00 PM today.

I have received messages, phone calls, and had a chance to dine with a few residents.  All, express concern, and upset over the conditions in Wedgefield.  Some in their frustration, could be anger, turn to warped humor.

A golf course lot owner said they were going to take the board member, who suggested goats, from the board table, up on the recommendation.  Later, another member sent me a helpful tool for those who might take the goat action.  HERE IT IS:

Another resident said, that since the board wasn't willing to discuss the golf course issues with the residents, that they were going to take action themselves, and maintain a portion of the golf course near them, by buying a tractor, and cutting large areas, while planting vegetables, and harvasting a crop, in other areas.  They felt that storing the tractor, putting up temporary barbed wire fencing to keep the deer out, wouldn't be a problem, since the board allows it right here in Wedgefield, on one of our main routes - Wedgefield Rd.  Who can argue with that?  While our governing documents prohibit the parking of cars, etc., on unbuilt lots, the board has done nothing about the tractor for years.  I have to agree with the resident on both points.  We also have restrictions about fencing, and yet every year during the growing season, we have barbed wire fencing on metal poles, right on Wedgefield Rd
I suggested that the resident drive by the Wedgefield Rd,  and look at the unbuilt lot with the tractor, and often barbed wire fence, and get some ideas for their project.  They should note the tarp that has been thrown over the tractor to protect it.  I'm posting these pictures in an effort to help that resident with their project.

HERE, APPEARS THE TYPE OF TRACTOR YOU SHOULD CONSIDER PURCHASING - YOU'LL BE SAFE IN BUYING IT, BECAUSE YOUR BOARD HAS IGNORED IT ON WEDGEFIELD ROAD, FOR YEARS!  SPECIAL NOTE:  LOOK, YOU CAN EVEN PILE DEBRIS AND LEAVE IT THERE, THAT'S ACCEPTABLE TOO!  CALL IT COMPOST!

WANT TO PROTECT THAT TRACTOR?  HERE IS WHAT THE BOARD CURRENTLY ACCEPTS

NOW HERE IS WHAT THE BOARD ACCEPTS TO KEEP THE DEER AWAY FROM YOUR CROPS.  YOU'LL BE FINE, DON'T WORRY THIS IS WHAT THE BOARD ALLOWS RIGHT OUT ON WEDGEFIELD RD.  SPECIAL NOTE:  IF YOU LOOK AT THE VERY FIRST PICTURE, YOU CAN SEE WHAT THE BOARD ALLOWS IN REGARD TO FENCE STORAGE IN OFF SEASON.

WORRIED ABOUT ALL THAT OTHER STUFF YOU'LL NEED TO KEEP YOUR MINI FARM GOING?  DON'T BE!  THEY ACCEPT THIS FORM OF SELF STORAGE ALSO.  JUST PILE IT UP WITH THE ACCEPTIBLE PILES OF DEBRIS, AGAINST A TREE.

The conditions of Wedgefield, the board's failure to follow our governing documents, meet in the open (canal dredging), failure to call meetings to ask residents what they feel should be done about the golf course, and their pure neglect of Wedgefield has lead to frustration, and for relief some residents fall to humor, because they know the board won't listen anyway.
