Hi, Madeline. I thought the person who opposes the purchase of the golf course makes a number of very valid points and the meeting on June 1st will be extremely important.  I hope a large number of Wedgefield residents will attend.  The part that struck me the most was the comment about the level of desperation.  I don’t feel that any longer now that there is an organized plan in place to keep the golf course mowed and in decent condition (thank you Butch Williams!).  While I look forward to learning more about a potential plan from the County, I would be perfectly happy if we just left things as they currently are.  It would be great if we could somehow do something about the manor house and the swimming pool to make them both operational again; maybe we should ask Butch his thoughts.  Hope you have a nice Memorial Day week-end!
