Good morning.

Could you please pass along the subject matter of the closed meeting you all  had last night?  And what conclusions/action plans were discussed?  Also, I have heard that the golf course has actually been sold.  A check on the county website doesn’t show anything, but they may not have updated that record as of yet.  Could you please let me know whatever information you all have?

Since you all have had such trouble with your website and are unable to keep the residents apprised of what’s going on, maybe a large email chain will work in the interim.  I understand from the meeting we had a few weeks ago that the website will soon be addressed, but in the meantime, I suppose this method will work just fine.

I just spoke to Bob Garrison, from our legal committee, and he has requested from the investment firm that owns the course,any information about the potential sale. As of today he has not heard back from them. If we hear something concrete we will pass that information along.

I agree completely about the website. We could do a better job and we will. As far as the golf course, we do not know anything past rumors and I would be uncomfortable just repeating things I have heard.

Any information is appreciated, concrete or not. I am told that a contract was signed with prospective purchasers and the hope is to close by January 1.  While I can appreciate you all not wanting to pass along information that hasn’t been confirmed, this issue is important to some of the residents and even if it comes out in bits, it would be helpful to know that our Board members are keeping on top of any and all developments. 

With regard to the website, I believe this needs to become somewhat of a priority.  I suspect it would be easier for all of you to simply post information once as it becomes available, negating the need to respond to individual emails.  It just seems like poor form not to have something as basic as a working website.  What does the timetable look like for getting the site up and running?

The meeting on the 29th was just a standard re-organizational meeting that takes place every following every election. All of the officers and committee appointments stayed the same as last year.

We do not have any concrete information about the golf course,  Hopefully the website will be operational soon and we can update the information on it.
