HERE IS THE RESIDENT'S UNEDITED LETTER:

Kudos to the resident who is dumbfounded by the actions of the board for speaking the truth about our community.    I would like to add to the list of violations in Wedgefield that are ignored and condoned by our leaders.   I find it obnoxious and discourteous of neighbors who park their commercial contractor trucks on grassy areas on the side of their houses as if we can't see these eyesores when we drive by.   Some are storing more than one vehicle on their property.  Imagine looking out your window and having this view?    Why are they allowed to get away with this?   I thought it was a no no to operate a business out of your home and what about the rule of thumb, 1 car per bedroom?   I often wonder why these people don't rent commercial space like most professional business owners.   Sorry!!!    No one really wants to live next to your parking lot.     It's time we higher our expectations and stop letting the few drag down the beauty of this community.

I ask that residents come to the May meeting and hold our board members accountable for the deteriorating conditions of our community.   The value of your home and the quality of your life depends on our board members enforcing the covenants.

COMMENTS:

THERE ARE CANAL LOT OWNERS WHO ARE STORING BOATS FOR OTHERS ON THEIR LOT.  THERE ARE BOATS PARKED ON A JOHN GREEN LOT THAT RESIDENTS HAVE BEEN REPORTING FOR OVER A YEAR.  THE PROBLEM HAS EXISTED ON THAT LOT SINCE HURRICANE MATTHEW!

THE BOARD HAS ALLOWED THIS ON A VACANT LOT ON WEDGEFIELD RD FOR YEARS.

BOARD MEMBER - GROUNDS CHAIR MCMILLIN, HAS LET VACANT LOTS, UNDER CONTRACT TO BE MOWED BY OUR LANDSCAPING CREW, TO TURN TO THIS AGAIN THIS SPRING!

YOU ARE LEFT TRYING TO PROTECT YOUR OWN ADJACENT PROPERTY WITH THIS, INSTEAD OF ENFORCEMENT OF THE BOARD'S CONTRACT WITH THEIR OWN VENDOR, IGNORING THE COVENANTS, RESTRICTIONS, ETC.
