TWO QUICK GOOD NEWS ITEMS FROM LAST NIGHT'S MEETING

The Wedgefield Examiner will need time to provide a full over view of last night's meeting.  In the mean time, I felt it was important that we immediately share two great thoughts on last night's meeting.

1)  Georgetown County residents can be proud of their representative, Brian Tucker.  Whether you liked what was presented, or not,  his outlined presentation was put together well, informative, and open as to where the county is in all this.  He answered questions honestly.  At one point there was to be a show of hands of those who supported possible purchase by the county, and he said that he would not put neighbors in the position of publicly having to display their vote.  It looked to me like around 100 Wedgefield residents attended, and listened to first hand information.  Thank you, Brian Tucker!

2)  Tucker reported last night that he and the realtor had spoken and today, or tomorrow, one potential buyer for the course was returning today for the fifth time, with more of their staff!  Let's not count our chickens before they are hatched, but let's at least smile a little at the potential positive out come.
