LATER TODAY - COMMITTEE REPORTS FROM THE MAY 21 WPA BOARD MEETING

Wait until you hear how the Water Amenities Committee let this dock slip into the canals under the board's very watchful (??????) eyes.  Well they weren't that watchful because it is still there.  Do you know what happens when you violate a board vote for contract and corresponding clean up of an old unrepairable dock?  Nothing.  They give it a pass into the future, hoping you won't notice.



The board is also hoping you won't notice the lots. They haven't been mowed.  The board delayed the grounds maintenance contract because the grounds chair wants you to continue to subsidize private lot mowing.  So you and I have two great new features in the association - unmowed lots and this mess of a dock.  Why?  Your board won't act in our behalf.  It could appear, they are left soothing each other so they can secure the votes they want for their own individual pet projects.  I think the board calls it cohesive.  Others might call it lack of responsibility and governance.
