Dear Examiner,
I thank you for publishing the letter from Vince Morabit. It was cruel,
misinformed and downright tacky. Taco never mention Morabit by name or called
him any names. What are we, in third grade? Once again, confidentiality was
broken by a board member, Al DeMarchi, who called Morabit by name. If Mr.
Morabit does, in fact, have five properties in WPA, why does the county GIS
website only credit him with three tax ID numbers? Maybe he will write to the
Examiner and explain.
I wonder if he remembers just who started the trouble in Wedgefield. Three
individuals who filed a lawsuit on behalf of the “majority” of the residents,
collected money, and promised a resolution to the canal issue once and for all.
I have been told that these individuals couldn’t, or wouldn’t, name the
committee members, wasn’t sure who had control of the money, and dropped the
lawsuit without seeing it to its conclusion. These same people then threatened
to sue the Board IF they didn’t vote to sue the lawyer and the bank. Instead of
letting unrest subside, Morabit and his crazy cronies continue to ‘stir the
pot.’
Please correct your title. Mr. Morabit is a property owner and member of
the WPA, but not a resident! Unlike Taco, he makes his home elsewhere and
Wedgefield is an investment. Taco makes his home here and is heavily invested
in its future. Taco has quietly and generously contributed to the well being of
Wedgefield. He has donated flowers and plants to help beautify this community,
contributed to the Egg Hunt sponsored by the WPA, and helped with holiday
decorating. I do not remember seeing Mr. Morabit involved in any of this.
Perhaps the green eyed monster of jealously reared its ugly head and caused
Morabit’s childish letter. The crazies, are trying to invalidate Taco’s votes.
I believe that Morabit made a speech before the WPA board recommending that we
‘sue outside the gates’, yet he threatens to sue Taco! We, the WPA, do not need
Morabit’s continued hostility. If he can’t contribute positively to Wedgefield,
he should just shut up!
Add my votes to Taco’s syndicate!
