What do I mean? We don't have a lot of time here. Read back articles on this blog, and if you want to follow some of these board members all the way back, go to the Wedgefield Times, and read articles there. Some of these miscreant - most of them - board members have been around for 6-9 years. Do your research now.
Over those years they have reduced your access to information piece by piece -
*santized, doctored minutes, so bad that even if they told you they did something, you can't go back and verify it because it isn't in the minutes, and they trust that you aren't going to look, and call them on it.
*Removed the official recordings from the website, so you can't even go back, and listen to verifiy, what they say, or anyone else tries to report to you what they said. The reason? They either didn't do what they are telling you, or what they stated during a meeting is so blatantly wrong they don't want you to be able to verify it, and talk to them about it.
*The financial reports have changed so many times over the years that you are left comparing apples and oranges, and even when they report the way they want to the reports are often wrong!
*The Wragg is nothing, but a RAG, as some of you have stated.
I'm not listing anything else, the posting can't be that long. If you don't feel that you are living in North Korea, or back in history to Nazi Germany, let's consider the recent board meeting.
*We'll skip my interaction with the board bully - Mr. Vice President/Legal Chair/Compliance Chair/board spokesperson Garrison.
*Resident requests a internet site so residents don't have to go to Face Book, to exchange ideas, and make comments. Answer from board - NO
*Resident asks if there could be a resident golf committee formed. Answer - NO
*After president Walton states that he doesn't believe the prices of homes, etc. are falling because of situations in Wedgefield, a resident asks him if he is a realtor? He states NO. Resident then asks if we could have a expert come in and talk to us about that? Answer - NO.
Resident states that he heard that even if a decision were made by the county today to buy, that it would take at least 4 months to become finalized. The grass and weeds on the golf course are growing to ridiculous heights, can we do something until then? NO HOLD HARMLESS. Lots of excuses in the world according to spokesperson BOB!
And the beat goes on...........far to long! 6-9 years by some of these board members, who by the way must condone by their silence this long term poor governance, and fail to speak, or ask spokes person Bob to quit abusing people who ask questions that he doesn't like. Their effort in the moment - SILENCE and a cackle!
Why the great numbers now on the blog? Residents have no where to go. Wedgefield is in CRISIS. Our assets - the golf course and canals are left in limbo in the board's administrative mishandling of the assets, common grounds, and unrestricted conditions on individual lots - failure to use covenants & restrictions, by this board. The board's failure to manage our financial assets, tops this miserable meal - Wedgefield, menu & cooking brought to you by your board. Your price to eat - your silence, gratefulness, and acceptance of whatever they decide to tell you - if at all. Don't like it? Don't bring it up at a meeting, or they will have bully BOB verbally abuse you.
Get busy people. Write the board - copy your letters to them to the blog. Stand up at meetings, and speak. Consider running for board. This board has divided us - this group may attend the canal dredging meeting - this few may go to the golf course meeting - this group will run the survey, but you won't all be surveyed. Would someone on that board please tell us why they dare to use the word cohesive? Oh, I forget myself! They don't mean they are trying to describe their treatment of the residents - their goal for us is really divide and conquer. Cohesive in regards to them is - my term now - this board is cohesively derelict in their service to us!
